The Scary Pumpkins

This year we had plenty of pumpkins to carve into Jack O Lanterns...Lindsey was so excited to scoop out the guts this year and help me draw the shapes for her pumpkin faces. She had 2 pumpkins to carve this year so she wanted a scary one and a happy one. We got to work drawing the faces on, mom cut out the shapes and the top and then she got to work on scraping out the guts. It was "slimy" and "sticky" but she did a fantastic job. Daddy carved his pumpkin into a happy, jolly guy and we decided to make mine scary too. By the time we were done with the 4 pumpkins, we decided to just let Dylan be the happy one Lindsey had done...my hands were too tired to cut anymore and it was time for bed. :) All in all, I think we had some great jack o lanterns this year, they all looked awesome all lit up too.
